The Country's largest urban co-operative bank, Saraswat bank has announced the donation of rs. 1 crore for drought relief in Maharastra. The drought relief in Maharastra is caused by the two deficient years of the monsoon rainfalls and now has been a major problem resulting into shortage of water availability across the country including Maharashtra.

England automative brand Jaguar Land Rover ltd and a subsidiary of Indian automaker Tata Motors, has tied up with UK-based Bullitt Group to develop mobile devices and a range of accessories under its brand. The smartphones and accessories will be launched in early 2017.

Government plans to provide mobile connectivity in 55,669 villages by March 2019 in a phased manner. It will also commission a project to connect 8,621 villages in the north-eastern region by installing 321 mobile tower sites by September 2017, a note prepared by Department of Telecom (DoT) about the progress made during the last two years of the NDA government said.

Scientists have detected atomic oxygen in the atmosphere of Mars for the first time since the last observation 40 years ago.
