Answers With Explantion :
      1.D)
      Raju can do 1/15 of the job per day
      John can do 1/20 of the job per day
      If they work together they can do 7/60 of the work together
      Remaining job 1 - 4*7/60 = 32/60 = 8/15

      2.C)
      Ram can type 32/6 pages per hour
      Shaam can type 8 pages per hourThey can type 32/6 + 8 = 40/3 pages per hour
      So they will take 110/40 × 3 = 33/4 hours or 8 hours 15 minutes

     3.E)
     7 men can do 1/12 of the job per day
     So after 5 days they have completed 5/12th job. Still 7/12 part of the job is to be completed.
     5 men can do 1/12 × 5/7 = 5/84 of the job per day
     So they will take 7/12 × 84 /5 = 9 days to complete the job

     4.B)
     Efficiency of A = 1/20 = 5% per day
     Efficiency of B = 1/30 = 3.33% per day
     Efficiency of C = 1/60 = 1.66% per day
     In three days A can do 15% of the job himself and B and C do 5% of the job ( 1.66% + 3.33% )
     In three days they can do 20% of the job, to do 100% of the job, they need 3 ×  5 = 15 days

     5.B)
      As per question, A do twice the work as done by B.
      So A:B = 2:1
      Also (A+B) one day work = 1/18
      To get days in which B will finish the work, lets calculate work done by B in 1 day =
      =(1/181/3)=1/54
      [Please note we multiplied by 1/3 as per B share and total of ratio is 1/3]
      So B will finish the work in 54 days

     6. Let the number of questions attempted by Mohan with correct answers be x. Then, total marks obtained             for correct answers = x * 1 = x And the number of questions attempted by Mohan with incorrect answers =         30 – x. Total marks deducted for incorrect answers = (30 – x)/4  Now, x – (30-x)/4 = 13.75
        Or, 4x + x = 13.75 + 30 = 55 + 30 = 85 or, 5x = 85  , x = 85/5 = 17
        Incorrect answers = 30 – 17 = 13

      7. Let the monthly income be Rs. X
       Then, (x * 13)/100 = 305500  x = (305500 * 100)/13 = Rs. 2350000
       Now, total monthly amount invested by Mr. Sharma = 29 + 9 + 13 = 51%
       So, 51% of 2350000= (51*2350000)/100 = Rs. 1198500

    8. Here in the given word GALOTIA, there are seven letters, where A appears twice. Hence the rqd      number of ways        = 7!/2! = 3 * 4 * 5 * 6 * 7 = 2520

      9. Can't determined.

      10. Rs. 2052.26

    11.A)  Total increase = 8 * 2 = 16 years So, total age of two women = 35 + 45 +16= 96
        Average age of two women=96/2=48 years

     12.C)  2, 4, 6, ………… 100
       Average = (1st No. + Last No.) /2 = (2+100)/2 = 51

    13. A)  S.I. for 3 years = Rs. (12005 - 9800) = Rs. 2205.
       S.I. for 5 years= Rs. 3675
       Principal = Rs. (9800 - 3675) = Rs. 6125
       Hence Rate = {(100 × 3675) / 6125 × 5} % = 12 %

    14. A) Let C.P. be Rs. x and S.P. be Rs. y.
      Then, 3(y - x) = (2y - x)     y = 2x. Profit = Rs. (y - x) = Rs. (2x - x) = Rs. x. So profit % =100%

    15. D)
       Short tricks : Let the initial investment money ratio of Jon and Harry is 2x and 3x So Jon , Harry and Ron          ratio of investment is ( Jon : Harry : Ron )
       = (2x X 12 ) : ( 3x X 12 ) : ( 3x X 6 ) = 24 : 36 : 18 = 4 : 6 : 3

      16.    B) :
      Suppose Ramesh invested Rs. x. Then,
      Manoj : Ramesh = 120000 * 6 : x *12.
      720000/12x: 6000/3000
      x = 30000

     17. C)   Let speed of cyclist  = x kmph  480/(72 - x) X 5/18 = 32   x = 18 kmph

     18. A)  Let speed of 1st train = x kmph   (180 + 120)/(x X 5/18)  = 20
          x = 54 kmph

     19.Let the number to be added x , Then 3 + x / 5 + x = 5 / 6    6 ( 3 + x ) = 5 ( 5 + x ) x = ( 25 – 18 ) = 7
          So , the number to be added is 7 .

     20. Profit= 5% (If case )  5% of CP ------> Rs. 27   So, CP = Rs. 540
          Now, Loss% = 10

          Loss =Rs. 54   Required % = 54*100/27 = 200%.
